Do you know people that seem to effortlessly maintain a fit physique?

    1. Educate themselves regarding nutrition and exercise. Knowledge is power

  1. Look for ways to Mix Up there fitness routine the body is constantly adapting to the forces imposed upon it. If you do the same thing at the gym every day you’ll limit your results and eventually hit a plateau.
  2. Avoid Fad diets. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
  3. Make eating out the exception rather than the rule, restaurant food is notoriously loaded with excess fat and calories.
  4. Exercise in the morning, many people find too many diversions as the day progresses
  5. Eat what the cavemen ate, think unprocessed, whole foods, plenty of organic fruits and vegetables. Occasionally they ate meat but don’t make it the primary part of your diet.
  6. Maintain tidy homes. Good work out
  7. Purge the junk in their refrigerators and pantries, don’t fool yourself, if your weakness is cookies then get rid of the cookies.
  8. Have an exercise buddy for accountability
  9. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Drink lots of water.
  10. They forgive themselves for setbacks and move forward.
  11. Fresh air work outs!

Interesting facts about the stomachs receptors.

Part of the reason more and more people are becoming obese is because of the way food is processed. Here is an interesting fact about our Stomach Receptors!

`Let’s say you consume 500 Calories of Whole food plant based veggies, that 500 calories sets off the stomach receptors letting you know that you are full.

Now take 500 calories of meat / animal based products, they are so much richer in calories that the receptors don’t get triggered as soon because you to feel hungry even after putting away a double Quarter Pounder with Cheese.

Then you add oil to the mix, the greaser the food and the more oil that is in the food the more dense the calories are so it takes even more until your stomach receptors begin to trigger and let your brain now you are full. I am telling you this so you can be aware of what your body is doing.

#1. 500 Calories of carrots is completely different then 500 calories of meat. Sorry but a calorie is not a calorie. (Check out this post for a great example of what 1000 calories of veggies look like compared to meat)

Did you know in the beginning of the 20th century that on average each person was consuming 120lbs of meat annually? Obviously some people ate more than others however the meat consumption of the U.S. was @ approximately 120lbs per person per year. If you think about it, that is not very much meat for one person for the entire year. Over the years this number began to increase and by 2007 it had almost doubled just in the U.S. The meat consumption per person was up around 223lbs per person per year. Not just meat consumption but all animal products. Dairy, in the 1900’s was at about 300lbs per person, by the year 2000 that doubled to approximately 605lbs per person. That’s a lot of milk and cheese! Milk is like drinking liquid flesh, honestly after doing some research on cow milk it is not very good for you. Yes it is full of calcium which is good for your bones however because it is loaded with calcium and not magnesium it can cause a reverse effect. Calcium and magnesium are both needed to strengthen your bones. If too much calcium enters your body and is not balanced then it has been known to steal magnesium from your bones causing counterproductive results.

What is very interesting about the research on Calcium needing magnesium to be productive? In a whole foods plant based diet not only is there plenty of calcium in veggies but there is also the perfect proportion of magnesium to produce very productive results for your body.

Let’s talk now about meat, what is meat for? Yep you nailed it Protein! Everybody knows that. There is actually plenty of protein found in whole foods, plant based products. The average American gets about 400% more protein then they need according to Food Inc. In the 1960’s heart disease was on the rise and we didn’t know why. Doctors were finding that cholesterol levels were off the charts. The Cholesterol levels come to find out where the cholesterol’s that you find in meat, milk, cheese and eggs. The cholesterol from animal products unlike the cholesterol found in whole foods they were finding out it was staying in the blood stream longer. Which takes us back to one of my previous posts about “How to lose weight fast” as quoted “the composition of the macronutrients in meat is primarily protein and fat so your body can’t digest it quickly.” Creating the buildup of cholesterol causing future heart problems. How to lose weight fast


One of the best ways that I know of for how to lose weight fast (not how to loose weight fast) is to change what you eat. Hi there, it’s me again coming to you with some more great news! As you may have read in my other posts, I used to eat a lot of meat, cheese, and eggs. I switched to a whole foods plant based diet and the extra pounds seriously fell off. Within 2 months I had lost over 21lbs. This vegan diet plan is the exact formula for how to lose weight fast(Not how to loose weight fast). The best part about this vegan diet plan is that you don’t have to starve yourself and you don’t have to count calories. Did you know that 1000 calories of veggies is not the same as 1000 calories of meat, cheese, eggs, or milk? For starters, please review the pictures below:

This hamburger is approximately the same amount of calories as the basket of veggies on the right. WOW! That’s a lot of veggies! Not sure about the veggies, but I do know for a fact that this hamburger is about 1,420 calories!

My second point gets a little technical. Different foods get digested differently within your body. For instance, the composition of the macronutrients in meat is primarily protein and fat so your body can’t digest it quickly. Another helpful nutrient not found in meat is fiber, which is extremely important for the digestive system. It is proven that your digestive system works a lot harder in order to process animal products than fruits and veggies. As the meat is being digested, your body continues to work to break it down, but because it is taking longer your body starts to store some of it as fat cells for later. Your body needs protein and fat, but any excess of protein and fat that your body doesn’t need it ends up storing as fat cells for later.

With veggies and fruit, the composition of the macronutrients is such that it is mostly carbohydrates with varying amounts of fat and protein (yes, veggies do have protein).

Unlike animal products, veggies are loaded with fiber. Veggies and fruit are so much easier for your digestive system that everything gets processed and passed through extremely quickly. This is exactly how to lose weight fast(not how to loose weight fast), if you try this vegan diet plan you will notice that your visits to the bathroom will increase, especially at first because your flushing out your system and everything is working like it is supposed to.

Food that is in your body longer gets toxic and causes blockage and poor nutrient absorption. With the toxins not passing through as quickly, it can cause other problems and actually get into your bloodstream instead of passing through.

How to lose weight fast for men


There are so many different ways for men to lose weight fast. The key to any diet or exercise program is to stick with it. Don’t give up. Even if you don’t see results right away, if you stick with this 6 week challenge you will begin to see the results you desire.
